PET RESCUES AND ADOPTIONS

Shidoshi Hardy and his wife are committed to helping our animal companions by educating the public on animal cruelty, population control (spaying and neutering programs) and animal health and diet.  They also foster (kittens, cats, dogs and puppies) rescue abused and unwanted animals and volunteer at shelters and sponsor/co sponsoring related events.  More often than not they have a healthy supply of critters around that desperately need good homes.  If you would like to adopt a animal companion, be involved in volunteering or fostering please contact them at 512-444-0407 or companions@spiritwarriors.com

Below are the current Critters available for adoption.

Bart is a approximately 1 year old Border Collie mix.  We rescued him from the animal shelter; he was due to be killed that day because of chest congestion.  We took him to the vet and got the medicine he needed; he was fully recovered a week later.  He is very playful and loves cats, other dogs - big and small, to play fetch and swim.  He is a very loving and loyal boy and will stay right by your side!  He is house broken!  Would be great with children!   Adoptable as of September 2005

These are two very lucky kittens.  They were found at just about two weeks old and close to death.  We took them home and bottle fed them.  Needless to say, they are now two healthy and active kittens.  They get along very well with other cats and dogs. They are both boys and one has all white paws.  They are looking for good and loving homes.. We found one of the boys (w/0 white socks) a home recently.  (Both of these kittens have been successfully adopted to good homes)

This is moo cow.  She is a very sweet and loving kitten.  She will follow you everywhere you go.  A definite lap kitten.  She is around 13 weeks old.  We bottle fed her as a baby but now she eats kitten food and is looking for a good home.  She loves everyone and everything, especially sleeping with the dogs for an afternoon nap. (adopted January 2004)

This Molly.  She is a really sweet lab mix.  She has been trained on the leash, to sit, stay, come, and lay down.  She is extremely smart and a fast learner at only 6 months old.  She is good with children, other dogs and cats.  She is a good watch dog as well!  (Adopted December 2003)
